What to Expect
Since we believe the Bible is our sole authority for all faith and practice, we strive to conform our worship to what is most pleasing and honoring to God. Our confession of faith outlines in greater detail many of the principles we follow.
We gather corporately each Lord’s Day to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ in singing, prayer, Scripture reading, the Lord’s supper and expository preaching of the Word of God.
Our corporate worship through song is done with great consideration. We sing a blend of Psalms, hymns and spiritual songs (Ephesians 5:19). We sing from the Trinity Hymnal, and carefully chosen, recently written songs. It is our desire to sing with hearts filled with joyful and reverential praise! You may listen to most of the songs we sing at our YouTube TBC Songs playlist.
We observe the Lord’s Supper each Sunday. We believe this practice best conforms to the Scriptures and practice of the early church.
We encourage families to worship together. A nursery is provided for children ages 3 and below. We acknowledge that it is a growth process for children to gain self-control and appreciation for the worship of God and we support parents in this training process.
Our pastor preaches expositorily which means that he preaches verse by verse through the books of the Bible.
We divide into age specific Sunday School classes from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. (except at times in the summer we meet as one group to give the teachers a break)
Many people struggle with what clothing to wear to worship. Do I have to wear a suit or dress? We do not have a dress code at Trinity. However, we believe your outward dress should be a reflection of your inward heart. We encourage a modest dress which reflects a heart that is drawing near to the Creator and King of the universe.
