1) How did the Law imprison everyone and for what purpose did it do this?
2) What is meant by the Law being our "guardian" (ESV) (pi-da-go-gos - Greek)?
3) What does Paul mean when he says that we were baptized into Christ?
4) What is meant by "putting on Christ"?
5) What does it mean that there is neither male nor female, Jew or Greek?

- What are the similarities between Nicodemus’ conception of how one enters the Kingdom of God and popular conceptions today of how one enters heaven?
- How does the flesh/Spirit dichotomy help us to understand and communicate the necessity for a new birth?
- What does it mean to be ‘born of water and the Spirit’?
- In what ways are people offended today by the truth that you must be born again?
- How does the illustration of the wind in verse 8 help us better understand salvation?

1) Covering versus Bringing Out (vv. 11-12, 18)
2) Plenty versus Lacking (vv. 13-17, 19-21)

1) In what ways do both the righteous and the wicked cover?
2) Why does Verse 15 talk about wealth being a strong city and poverty being a poor person's ruin?
3) How is both the covenant of works and covenant of grace in Verse 16?
4) Why is it that sin is not lacking when words are not lacking (Verse 19)?
5) What does it mean to restrain one's lips and why should we do this?

2) How does God's judgment mean salvation for his people?
3) Why is it proper for God to show himself off but sinful for man to do this?
4) What do we learn about God in making Pharaoh a vessel of wrath and why should that make us who believe thankful?
